Refund Policy
1. Refunds where the Client is an Individual
In all cases, if the service is cancelled before Brashan DNA issues (dispatches) the Client with a kit, a full refund will apply for up to 7 days after purchasing the test. To be eligible for a refund, the testing kit must still be in the store of Brashan DNA.
Subject to these terms, we do not offer refunds on testing kits after seven days of purchase if the kit has been sent to the customer’s address and received by them.
If the service is cancelled after Brashan DNA issues the Client a kit but before the Client sends back the samples, then a postage and administration fee of £40 will apply (see clause 2 for prenatal paternity and gender testing) plus £20 to PayPal ( if client paid by Paypal).
If the service is cancelled once the samples are received at the laboratory then no refund will be made.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please be sure to confirm all items prior to purchasing, as all refunds attract a management fee of £40.00 plus £220.00 to PayPal if client purchased their kit with PayPal).

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
PLEASE NOTE THAT £40.00 MANAGEMENT FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR REFUND, if your request for refund is approved.
2 Prenatal and Gender Testing Specific terms
If the service is cancelled after Brashan DNA issues the Client a kit but before the Client sends back the samples, then a postage and administration fee of £105 will apply.
Where no consent has been received, one or more samples have been received at the laboratory but no testing has commenced, a 50% refund will apply.
If a Client requires Brashan DNA Sample Collectors to collect samples, and Brashan DNA cannot provide a Sample Collector due to location, a 100% refund will apply.
The Client hereby acknowledges that whilst Brashan DNA is undertaking “Prenatal DNA Testing” Services, Brashan DNA will use all reasonable endeavours to obtain a conclusive result. However, due to technical and scientific limitations, this cannot be guaranteed.
Where Services are supplied direct to a Client who is an Individual and NOT as mandated, ordered or otherwise obligated by law or court, and an inconclusive result is reported, and subject to the mother being at least 12 weeks gestation, Brashan DNA will perform further testing at its own cost, with a newly-collected sample. In total, up to 3 tests will be performed at the cost of Brashan DNA. The Client is liable for the cost of collecting any additional samples.
If, after 3 tests, a conclusive result cannot be obtained, no refund will apply.
Any further testing, in the event the blood sample is deemed unsuitable thereafter, shall be at the Client’s cost and the Service Provider shall confirm and agree with the Client the cost of such collection in advance.
